Students in fifth grade study topics according to state and district standards.


Fall Exhibit:
Students will explore the 6 simple machines through experimenting and hands-on
volcano
experiences.  They create Rube Goldberg type inventions.


Spring Exhibit:
Students will study forces of nature. The key knowledge students will gain is understanding balance in
simplemachines
the environment and how floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, and volcanoes affect the earth's structure.
