Greetings To You!
After 20 years of raising my own three children and teaching preschool and enriched science classes in the Early Childhood Family Education Program (ECFE) in the Mounds View School District, I am now thrilled to be teaching kindergarten at Museum Magnet. This is my third year teaching in the St. Paul Public School District.
I have recently been trained in Writer's Workshop and spent the past two years studying and training in a CHOICE Literacy Grant at Highwood Hills Elementary School here in St. Paul.
My interests include reading and books (especially children's picture books), author studies, music and art, gardening, and visiting my children - (two are college students in the Chicago area). I currenly live in Shoreview with my husband of 26 years and my youngest daughter, a senior in high school.
Oh, yes, I have a dog Sammy who sometimes visits my kindergarten classroom!
