Alex's Lemonade Stand Info

This year the 4th graders are holding 2 Alex's Lemonade stands to raise money for childhood cancer research as part of their "We Can Make A Difference" service learning project. In 2000, a 4 year old cancer patient named Alexandra "Alex" Scott held a lemonade stand to raise money to help "her doctors" find a cure for kids with cancer. With the help of her foundation, Alex raised $1 million before she died in 2004, and over $17 million as of June 2007! Talk about making a difference!

Our lemonade stands will be Fridays, Aprill 11th and 25th from 3:00 to 3:45 in the Blue Entry and from 4:00 to 5:30 in the Red Entry of the Rondo Education Center. Please stop over and buy a fruit juice slushie and crafts we have made!

Students have created an iMovie of their Lemonade Stand titled "The Charlotte & Bob Show" and we are also accepting online donations. Please check out the link on this page!
