Museums and Partnerships Arriving at the Science Museum The Museum Magnet School is about science, research, communication and the museum process. That means using those strong academic skills of reading, writing, and math to create a school museum with exciting Jan with students new exhibits made by kids, for kids. Science experiments, engineering projects, art, and technology combine with research in the library and at museums, and a strong emphasis on language arts to give kids Sketching in the River Gallery a chance to show what they've learned. Our Museum coordinator works with students and teachers throughout the year on exhibit themes linked to the exhibit topics that each grade is exploring. Guest experts from these museums, community-artists, archaeologists, boat builders, poets and chemists have all served as classroom mentors for student projects.
