| School Year 2007-2008 |  | SCRATCH is a programming and multimedia tool that we have been using since last year. SCRATCH is free program available for both Mac and PC from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology at scratch.mit.edu.
This year we will be using SCRATCH with grade levels K through 6. It is a very easy and intuitive program that actively engages students in their own learning.

Computers at Museum Magnet
At Museum Magnet we focus on teaching
our students to use the computer to problem solve, to create projects,
and to keyboard using the touch typing method. The main software
programs that we use are Scratch, AppleWorks, Word, and a variety of educational software titles and websites. |
